Terrible questions, & price gouging for 2nd state!

This H&R Block 2023 Deluxe+State software has no regard for customer vantage. The interview questions are often very confusing. It is supposed to make the process easy but confuses the heck out of user with questions posed in a way that is no better than the original IRS forms at times. So I am often not sure what I am answering is for the correct intent of the question. Also if you need 2nd state, this company is price gouging at a price just to add 2nd state an amount twice of what I paid for the whole Deluxe federal + State + efiling! I guess the captive audience must be taken full advantage of, right? $$$. Even after paying for 2nd state, not sure it correctly made the two states and federal properly exchange the needed data for accurate filing. I am also nervous about the questions posed for 2 state scenario where true answers do not make me feel comfortable I did this all correctly. I am not sure I can continue with HRBlock anymore. Open to compensated added info for my time, if contacted at nm123456+hrb at gmail

I have used H & R Block many times before without a problem. This year, they had a major problem that wouldn’t allow me to file my taxes online—even though I had already paid for it. I ended up having to mail them to make sure I filed on time. Not sure I will use them again.

I could not file my federal return through the H&R Block pc tax program on 4/14/24. I tried dozens of times and kept getting errors. I checked my email and see a message from H&R Block saying my federal return was accepted by the IRS. It was as a total lie! Nothing went through! I had to spend more time and money printing 40 pages and taking them to the post office to mail! I have never had issues like this before. I will never buy H&R Block software again. I later saw in the news that thousands of people had issues due to problems at H&R Block on the night of tax deadline and on tax day! I am very dissatisfied that they did not correct the problem sooner and contact people having issues or put out a statement that night. Instead I got a false email stating my return went through when it did not go through. How do you trust this company after that?
