Does what it supposed to. Help section is very basic. End up having to got IRS website, which is not much more helpful. Would be nice if it compared last years and this years items to say hey last year you had this item. Did you miss it this year or just not relevant this year.

I bought the deluxe software which boasts 5 free federal returns but you charge a service fee if I pay my taxes with a credit card. A total rip-off. I will use another software next time.
Cons: Time consuming

I have used the H&R Block tax software for thirteen years and have never had a problem. I used to get the Premium + State when I had a home business, and now I use Deluxe + State filing the Federal and two state returns, one a Non-resident return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents

Software bug with 1099-NEC income affected 2 federal returns. In one, we had to delete and reenter the 1099-NEC before it would pass the accuracy test. In the other, many of the business income and expenses records were corrupted. and had to be redone.
