this is my sixth year using H & R Block software.
there are many great features to my satisfaction. however there is still a problem in verification area. to circumvent, I had to delete the form. not being able to correct the problem, I had to physically mail my return.
hope this is corrected in the future.

This review interface is almost as sad as the software. I had more written but, it disappeared. Ultimately, it counted an income twice and, even after deleting all income, it still had that amount in the summary, forcing me to start completely over again. It asks the same questions multiple times, almost like 7 different people, who did not communicate, were in charge of various sections of the software. It could be easy, if it weren't for the ugly interface and terrible math. IF I just said screw it and submitted the first, I would have had to pay twice as much tax.

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

Last year we could not use Turbo Tax, which we had been using for many years, because the operating software on our iMac desktop computer could not be updated because of the age of the Mac. So for 2022 tax reporting we used your software. It worked but wasn’t than clean to use. The new 2023 software much better.

The fed e-file server is down, cannot make connection submit. Although other 5 starts, but final give it 3 star. This never happens for past 10 years. Cannot do e-file, has to paper filing. too bad.
