Overall like the software. However, some forms won’t scroll properly from top to bottom (MacBook Pro). This was especially annoying during the Accuracy Review. There were 4 items to review or fix and, since I was not able to view the whole form, it took an extra 2 hours to guess what needed to be corrected, make changes and rerun the review.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

When I tried to efile, I kept getting errors saying bad gateway. I tried calling your help desk but was unable to get in touch with anyone. I ended up having to print all me documents and mail them. This was a terrible unplanned inconvenience. Now I've also been charged multiple times for efiling for an extension which I didn't get and now need to dispute. What a complete disaster!
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One thing I wish this software would do is automatically tell you whether you would benefit from filing separately once you input all the tax information. Had to do 3 separate forms all the way through to determine this.

Have been using this for years. This year's e-filing Fed accepted but New York got rejected. And the rejection reason was missing spouse signature. And the only way to fix this was to print out and mail in the paper filing. Should the software be able to detect this simple error before submitting?

This program does a good job walking you through and prompting when necessary. I didn't like the pop ups trying to upgrade and charge more. Otherwise this is easy to follow and complete federal taxes...and free e-file. There is a charge to e-file state.
