I use it, but don't love it. So many nuisances. Just for one example, it imports transaction data from your brokerage for stock sales (capital gains), but then forces you to click through one at a time to confirm, which includes deleted about a dozen decimal place zeros. It screws up certain royalties. It provides boilerplate IRS language as "help".
Easy but failed when needed with electronic filing

Easy to use. I have used for many years since early days of tax cut. The problems connecting to electronically file the return on the 2nd to last and last day of filling was horrible. It created so much additional work trying to send multiple times over two days and a lot of uncertainty, No matter how easy it is to use, if it cant be relied on to send in files, then it is of no use. Since you did not include filing as a star below, that makes the results of this survey less valid.since you avoided the significant problem.
I've used this program for many years, so have been happy with the product. But the issue experience with failing to connect to your System on 4/14 and into 4/15 and complete the tax submission this year was really bad, especially right at the deadline.
More proactive information would have been better so I didn't try 3 times resulting in 3 additional changes to my credit card.
You should revisit your QA load testing and verify server/VM redundant architectures to prevent this issue next year.
I believe that this software was good but I will not know for sure until my return is verified. I will say that this is the first time I I owed so much but that may have been my fault
I have been using H&R Block software for 3 or 4 years and I've been satisfied with the results and have recommended them to several of my friends. We all agree that we made the right decision. Thank you.
