I've used H&R Block software for years, and have always been pleased, but this year is a huge exception. I spent hours on the 14th and 15th trying to get my daughter's returns accepted, with no clue as to why except a "bad gateway" message.
Being in IT support for almost 40 years, I'm astounded that there weren't fallback options in place to get your system back up and functioning in a more timely manner. The lack of communication that the problem was on your end was also very disappointing.
The best I can give right now is a 3.

This is the second time I've used H&RB to do my taxes and it was easy. Of course, I'm always a bit anxious when doing my taxes, but H&RB's hand-holding software takes some of the "bite" away.

Working through my deductions I am usually able to pick an item I.e., a pair of jeans that donated and it adds up the values. This year that feature did not work.

Efile kept failing. Returned “bad gateway” errors. No remedial efforts on proxy, gateway, or security worked.
