Not a good experience!

Tried for hours to submit my federal and state via exile. Kept getting an error. Realized my credit card was being charged every attempt for the state fee, so I quit that and filed it myself online. Federal keeps failing, but I got an email finally saying it was sent, and another saying it was accepted. Software still says it is not files.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor connection on Tax day

Its terrible that such a large company has server break down on tax day. I have been trying to file and got a message that my return went through after 10 attempts. I ended up paying through direct pay. Not sure if everything went through correctly. Also, no questions about gift tax.

unable to efile

I was unable to efile the Federal return after more than 10 attempts. Finally I receive an email showing that it is e-filed. When I open the program it tells me I have not e-filed the return - therefore I cannot check the status. The main point of this software is to do e-filing and have it shown in the program. Now the program will not let me efile my state return because it thinks the return was not filed. This is a huge mess. I do not want to file my state return on paper - that is not the point of this software.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Messed Up E-File is a Deal Breaker

I have used this software for at least the last 5 years. It has its benefits and issues, but generally it is good. However, this year, the program returned a "Bad Gateway" error in the dozen or so times I tried to submit my Federal tax return. However, I got an e-mail that said the return had been both submitted and accepted. I don't know what to believe, but I'm definitely saving these e-mails.
I don't know what got screwed up this time, but I will definitely look at other options for filing next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this software for over 6 years and it is so easy and very user friendly. It is a bit pricey and it would be a better value if more than one State form was included.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Did it file or NOT

Went to e-file got a message that it could not connect to the server, system error Bad gateway. Tried several times turned of all fire walls on the computer still got the same message then I get a e-mail stating the H & R Block had received the filing Then got an email saying the IRS as received the filing
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Trouble filing…

Their servers went down on tax day. They got them back up right before I had to mail physical copies but it was very stressful.
