The product charge my card for supposedly transmission of my State Tax. It never did, transmitted my whole tax Federal and State 2 days later and was again charge for transmitting my State Tax.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Servers have been down 14 april and still now on 15 april at 1100 hrs. Nothing from company in email, twitter, nothing... can't submit, can't verify if earlier submissions have been accepted...

The worst experience ever

On tax day H&R Block software crashed and returned efiling errors.Not only that, they charged our credit cards for fees despite the failure. Someone needs to be accountable and refund us both the money they charged and the software rebate for next year or this is goodbye.

We are aware of an issue preventing some desktop software users from e-filing their returns. Online clients and clients working with our tax professionals virtually or in person are not impacted. We are working to resolve the issue quickly and ask clients to please try again later today or print and mail their return if that is more convenient.

The program was easy to use, but this year for the 2024 tax season I seems to have had some trouble sith data related to minimum distribution requirement. At the end, since I knew I was right, and final review showed data issues with MRD, I filed my taxes with these issues unresolved. Ultimately the IRS accepted my filing. Wasted a couple of days trying to solve the isdues

Overall, the interview and forms-based editing are very good. But I found the Mac version a bit wanting in the latter regard a couple years back and went back to Windows. One thing I would like would be is for itemized lists simply open for the selected field without having to select it from the list.

Some things are better but is obscure in directions for government retirees when filing the state taxes leading to overpayment. Also inefficient use of tab headings when doing checks or corrections.
