Worst filing I have ever had with H&R Block kept getting gateway errors when trying to e-file, email says it’s accepted return but program shows not filed

1. Failed miserably dealing with K-1 schedules...it shouldn't be that complicated!
2. This year I had to search long and hard to find the 1040ES form an Vouchers for 2024 estimated tax.
I've used this program for years and this is the first time I've been disappointed.

I attempted to send my return several times, with and without my firewall protection. Same thing - will not transmit... Then after printing it so I can manually walk it down to the post office, I get an email saying that it was successfully sent???????
EVEN IF TT IS 2X THE COST OF HR-BLOCKHEAD, I'M NEVER COMING BACK TO YOU AGAIN!

Cons: Hard to prepare

We’ve been using the product for probably 20 years. Prior to that when it was Kiplinger‘s accurate; easy to use; current updates; and easy to file electronically. Especially like the confirmations from the state and federal, that our returns have been received and accepted. Also, like that, the information gets imported easily from the year prior save slots of time in doing each year’s returns.

We are aware of an issue preventing some desktop software users from e-filing their returns. Online clients and clients working with our tax professionals virtually or in person are not impacted. We are working to resolve the issue quickly and ask clients to please try again later today or print and mail their return if that is more convenient.

Lousy Email Process

Tried many many times to e file. I kept getting an error message that my "gateway" was bad. After ten attempts I gave up and decided to file an extension and mail my amounts due. A couple of hours later before filing an extension, I checked my emails and behold there were two mails saying the returns were filed and the Fed accepted. In checking the status of filing in the program, the messages said "not filed". The returns also stated that I may not be looking at my original submission. I only have one file on my computer to open. Where is the original file gone? Why was I receiving a bad gateway message on each submission? Why did I receive email messages as accepted? This program is now very confusing, unlike previous years. I will assume the email messages mean I have filed, but I do not have the returns' file on my computer. What a mess and with a message that states I have not filed.

Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
