Easy to use until one needs to make changes and try override values. Then it becomes quite confusing. For example, some numbers for the state filing come from the federal entries and hard to find/changes/override. Hard to come up with estimated state tax, hard to change how to use bank drafting to pay tax. No software support to answer questions. This review page is not even properly displayed on my PC monitor. Software generally sucks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The software is fine unless you have questions or need clarity. If that happens then you can contact “online support” where instead of someone giving you an answer they will tell you that you need professional support. I had a very simple question. If my question was very detailed or complicated then I could understand that. This was not the case. Good luck if you need help.

I have used H&R Block tax preparation software for 20+ years, and it never fails to fulfill my needs. I have found that most non-standard issues are covered in the program, although sometimes you have to dig a bit to find the solution.
