Arbitrarily limited foreign accounts to 3 when it worked the previous year. Wouldn’t have paid for it had I known and will move to another product next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Importing of prior tax year's data is great and saves time. Process is clear and has good explanatory notes. For several years I continue to have trouble with understanding what data to enter for the Foreign Tax Credit Form 1116. I own mutual funds which invest in multiple countries but I must pick one country for the data entry. In the end I always get it right but it took two iterations plus the final check for me to identify the needed data.

I purchased Deluxe version which includes 1 state download... and did my taxes. When it came time to file (both federal and state) electronically I was charged for filing state -- after federal was rejected (due to my fault, I had a bad PIN) -- I refiled (both - I didn't see any option) -- and was again charged for State filing... so I was charged twice for filing federal and state taxes.
Pros: Fast

Features good, but mistake in forwarding my 22 AGI

I bought this in December 2023 at full price and then got an offer for reduced price in February. Too late. Not happy. Also, the forwarded 2022 AGI fpr purposes of identity was incorrect and I had to sign up with the IRS online to get the correct number. Very time consuming.
