Problems with the software

There is a problem with correcting efile review errors that won’t correct and prevent efiling.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

problem with form

form to show quarter pre payments to state came up with the wrong numbers. I have the amount owed the state this year. But the form coming up had a $$$ for quarter payments that were way more than what tax was

Why force print of Schedules 1-3 with zeros

Our taxes are fairliy simple, a pension, 2 IRA's & Social Security. The multiple Schedules 1-3 are full of nothing but zeros, yet I can not print just the 1040-SR, without printing several pages of no value.

No live customer. I filed and need to pay my tax but there is nowhere to type my credit card so now i owed to the IRS!

Not able to print all forms

I am just finished my return on Premium Software, and not able to print out a whole list on Form 8949. Have an list 37 transaction item and print out only a last of a line both short -term and long-term sales of Cap Assets.

Good Basics, Some Software Issues

Did not properly handle (or explain) how to deal with figuring average mortgage balance in the case where a mortgage is sold during the year. This results in two 1098 forms received, but there is no good explanation on how to handle this. It appears the software assumes you have two separate mortgages - ughhh!
Secondly, on the Mac version anyway, trying to do a program update from within the application is completely messed up - it just goes around in circles and never does the update. After speaking with their help desk it was determined the best route to go is to go to their web site and download updates from there. Someone in their software development team needs a refresher course in testing before releasing an application.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
