Overall .. I like H&R Block Tax Software

I've been using HRB Tax software for several years. I like how it integrates the previous years information, and leads me through each topic. However, this year I had a challenge, it is where I added rental property .. I seemed to get into a loop that brought me back to the beginning a few times, and then, I was out and it accepted my information. The rest of the process went well through the completion and filing process.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great but getting rejected every time

Software is good and says my return looks good until I go to submit e-file and it keeps getting rejected. It tells me it's either a bad AGI which it's not, or a pin. However there is no way to find the previous years PIN, and, there's a spot that asks for a NEW 2023 5 digit pin to sign the return. Very frustrating and no solution even when I call. Tough call...i'd recommend but not very helpful in the end.

Easily causes you to miss deductions

I was surprised how it managed to miss some standard deductions and sections of my tax return I’d done several year in a row now. Thankfully I caught the issues in the end and filled them in to avoid overpaying taxes: items missed by the software on first go through - house property taxes paid, car property taxes paid , capital losses incurred from stock sales.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Like last year, when having to pay taxes, I had to hunt to find the filing form and address to send it to. Along with printing the form/address out, it should show up, individually, on your computer screen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great people, software would'nt let me input 2022 tax to Virginia paid in 2023. Multiple calls, no understanding

Only one small complaint.

When I print a copy of my return just as it is for filing, I like to save paper by printing on both sides. It would be nice to be able to just uncheck the filing instructions and then print the return. As it is now, I have to write down which forms will be sent. Then I have to choose the option to select the forms I want to print, select the forms I wrote down, and then hit print.
