Easy to use

I have been using this desktop software for several years and find it very user-friendly with lots of prompts to remind me to do things. I find it as accurate and saves me a lot of money since I do it myself.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great, Except for This One Problem

This one problem prevented me from working on my taxes on Saturday, March 23, 2024: When I clicked on any "Help" topic, I got a message window which claimed that I had no internet service or that my Firewall was blocking the connection. Apparently the problem was with the HRBlock server, because I verified that my internet service was working okay. A more useful error message would be to name the server as the problem.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

Convoluted IP PIN process that is not set up for

Cannot input adequate ip pin digits provided by irs. Convoluted interview process that does not include all necessary items.
Cons: Hard to prepare

To0 slow with the Electric Vehicle

The program was finally updated on March 25th regarding the Electric Vehicle tax credit portion of the program. Was it a surprise that there was a federal EV credit? It took too much time, i.e. me waiting for whoever on the team to finish the EV stuff. Do better next year please. This is why I rated this 3 stars.

Cons: Time consuming

Easy to use but did not include estimated state tx

I bought this awhile ago and just did my taxes. It was pretty easy to use and I was satisfied until I got to the end and realized it did not include my estimated state taxes for next year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You need to work on program

Very disappointed. Had used previous versions for years but this year is not good. Contacted support and they tried to help but their version was not like mine. I was given directions but could not complete because where support wanted me to click on didn't exist.. Not very happy. May have to back to Turbo Tax.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
