Help Center and help links inaccessible

I use HRB software every year, except for the three years when I WORKED for HRB. Very disappointed this year that the help center link and related links in the left-hand column did not work. I got screens saying that I was not online (I was), so I made all the firewall changes in your how-to-fix instruction on my Mac (updated with the latest 14.4 Sonoma OS). That did not fix anything. I was very concerned that I would not be able to e-file my return, but of course I could and did BECAUSE I WAS ONLINE! I tested help center and links out again after filing, and it still said I was "not online." Very discouraged, not sure I can still trust HRB software. I needed answers, and had to search ONLINE for them instead, which made preparing the return difficult and time-consuming. Poor value since help links were useless.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Buggy and slowly updated

It took way too long for problematic forms to be corrected and delayed my submission. Will switch to another software provider next year.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had the same problem last year filing with H&R Block. Just before I e filed, I would get a message to update my tax return. I have a IMAC and turned off blockers etc., but it still would not update. Tried numerous times and days. Finally, today it worked. I believe there must have been a H&R software problem, that must have been corrected. Request a refund for my troubles.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

RMD QCD experience not good

I identified the IRA distribution as a QCD and that was fine. Then the program wanted more information about the IRA distribution that only confused the entry. I spent many hours trying straighten things out, including 85 minutes on the phone with "Cathy" and was promtly disconnected when we reached the issue. Not Good. Next call I was given the "Tax Pro" number - turns out it was the IRS. Worse yet. I eventually got a tax due amount I felt was fair - who knows.

NEEDS BETTER SUPPORT FOR DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS

I had to do the download twice, as all the parts did not load. after starting to file I discovered there was a corrupted file and it would not let me select the correct tax option. Just took a chance that the IRS will not see it as a problem.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Software Crashes

I lost several hours of work because this software crashes 3 times during the course of the day. The way I figure it, you whole me money for lost time and aggravation. I am so angry !!!’
