Took 7 weeks to file return

Bought product in late January. Took 2 weeks to get w2's and enter data expected large return. Finally filed return on 3/21. At first form for EVs was not available, 3 weeks later it changed to could not transmit form. No it is peak filing period sowho knows how long it will take to get my (several $K) refund. And no apology for the delay

Not worth it

Took me over a month to file my taxes with them. Had to go through multiple updates to even have the forms to get my full refund.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great tax software for Seniors

Worst year for HR block. Repeated updates needed. The software did the final check ok to file and it was rejected. The issue was HR needed yet another update. Stay away.
Cons: Hard to prepare

The best but not glitch free

There is no line Line 17z, Schedule 2 on a 1040-SR . . BAD There There is no line 17z on 1040-SR, Schedule 2 . . INSTRUCTION, NEEDS CORRECTION . . Also, gas royalties procedure is cumbersome, not clear . . I've used this program for more than a decade - still the best available . . Exceeds the competition considerably

I used to use TurboTax but got away from it because of their bull about it being free. H&R costs too, but they are honest about it. The down side of H&R is that their "instructions/guidance/hand-holding" is much more cryptic. I always struggle to prepare the returns, and don't have a lot of confidence that I've done it right. Two years ago I had to print out and mail in the returns, which took forever, because the software would not let me e-file because there was some small insistent bug I could not resolve. The "warning" check doesn't help much. So I may be going back to TTax next year.

Federal is great, But state you get a poor.

I did not have any problems with the Federal taxes return's but when I tried to send the Pa. tax return I could not because there were things missing. This was after I got the OK that all was OK to send on the computer. Now I have to mail it in instead of usuing the computer.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
