I have been using H&R Block tax software for 7 years now and can confidently said it is an intuitive software for those of us who do their own taxes. Easy to follow format. Would recommend. Thank you!

Error in state tax software

Federal tax was okay but the state software didn’t calculate taxable income correctly. No one to call and report. Only robot
Pros: Fast

Great tax software.

Software worked well. It was a little difficult to resolve review issues. Rather than search for the form, a direct link to it would have been preferable. Otherwise, the software was easy to use, easy to complete the forms, easy to import, and easy to e-file.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I have used H&RBlock for many years. My only complaint is: If I want to print just a 1040 copy, it prints many pages that are not needed because there is nothing on them. BIG WASTE of paper and expensive ink.
Pros: Easy to prepare

the worst product I have purchased

I paid something for E-file using H&R block but the e-file was rejected due to an error of the software.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased Deluxe & State. Had to pay for state

I really liked the software. The activation code appeared to be automatically saved into the Federal software. However, it did not do so in the State Software, or I didn't initialize it correctly. I ended up paying for submitting the state tax submission.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Glitches in Filing

Had problems filing this year. The program indicated that I needed to correct the drivers license numbers for both me and my wife. They were correct, but I did them again. The program said they were still not correct. I submitted the returns anyway. Then the returns were rejected by the Federal Govt. because the 2022 AGI supplied by H&R was incorrect. I overroad it with the one from my printed 2022 return and refiled. It was accepted by the Feds. I think I was forced to pay you again to refile the State return that was held up because the Fed return was not accepted the first time.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!
