Worked with some glitches.

I’ve been using the product for greater than 10 years. I like that it always populates previous years fields correctly but this year, I had 2 problems. First it populated the activation code incorrectly so I had to dig around to find the correct code entry. Second, it would not accept my bank touting number which I checked and re-entered numerous times and had used previous years without a problem. When I fixed several errant entries(due to unclear instructions ), did an update, it finally accepted the routing number.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Performs well every year but two suggestions

For as complicated as the tax code is, HR Block software breaks it down and makes it easy to understand what I need to enter to get a full tax return that is then easily fileable online to the Feds (my state still requires payment, which is silly since it's less efficient for them when I mail in instead. Either way, HR Block gives me what I need to file).
One thing I found confusing was where to enter my estimated state taxes. Why in the federal section than in the state section? . . . or at least link me back to the necessary federal section when I'm in the state section looking for it.
The other improvement would be to let me print out estimated tax forms for the next year with just the amount left blank, instead of going through a bunch of calculations for some amount I don't want. Just at least give me the OPTION to fill it in as needed by me.
Pros: Easy to prepare

It was good

It said it would import last year's return and it did not.It did not import any year. This was disappointing for me.
Also when you print your copy it should allow to print what is important to you and not 20-30 pages most of which are useless.

Just One Glitch!

For the past two years the program stated that our drivers license numbers didn’t match on our forms. We checked as usual and they were correct despite the program saying differently. Both times we filed electronically and returns were immediately accepted by federal and state. Other than that problem it was easy!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Well structured. Easy interface. Good value for your money. The tabs could be larger and in darker contrast to see. Sometimes you forget where you are. An autosave feature would be great. Overall = 5/5

Hard to do imports from Schwab-

HR Block not living up to expectations.

I have downloaded version of HR Block...I been using the Deluxe download version for over 10 years. This year after completing my return; the software denied processing my e-file because form 7206 (new form Re: LTC deduction) was included. The message said to print and mail (my over 30 pages of tax return.) Ridiculous! I had to remove the form 7206 (missed $510 refund) and will need an amendment to recover the amount. Past two years ...issues with Fidelity download errors seem unresolved. I'm thinking there are other ways to e-file. Wouldn't you.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lack of Form

For Arizona returns you need to include Form 348.
Also there is a mistake in your included Form 301. On Line 20 the maximum allowable should be 652, rather than your software cutoff of 320, which was the 2022 max.
