State Software Issue

Federal worked fine but PA state had issues with my wife’s retirement. Used this for 15 years. This year will be my last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got worse over the years

Tried to scan a W2 and that messed up everything. Had to manually correct a couple of forms (e.g., missing address). At some time I player around with some number and then, when I deleted what I tried, it would not go back to the original numbers. A little bit disappointed, it was better in earlier years. Not sure I trust the overall end result.
Cons: Hard to import documents

Confusing

Everything was fine until I wanted to efile. I thought I could file the federal and state separately, so I efile the federal first. Then, I go back and tried to find the same page for efile the state, and it wasn’t there. I cannot get anyone from customer support to help me submit my state taxes.

I have used this for years now. This year my 'deluxe' edition made me pay for state filing, again & again. Quite annoying. May look at other options next year.

Great software

I've been purchasing this software now for several years and really enjoy the features and ease of use. I was a little disappointed this year, that my previous year returns was not able to load so I had to manually enter essential information (name, address, etc.).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use, easy to file online for free. Maybe on the future program tax programs state filing can be free to file to.
