I've used HRB for more than ten years. I've found the software easy to navigate and accurate. I couldn't ask for more.
I guess I'm old fashioned as I've never filed, even with HRB, electronically. This year I took the plunge and HRB did an excellent job filing for me. I have recommended HRB to others and will continue to do so.

Makes doing U.S. Taxes easier

I have used H&R Block Deluxe & State for years now, it has made doing my taxes simple & easy. My mutual fund Foreign Taxes always confuses me, this program helps uncomplicates them. The program helps carry the numbers to the different sections so that accuracy is achieved. I will continue to use the program every year!

I started using this product several years age, and am really glad I did. It is complete and covers all topics. It answers questions and has all the forms. I would recommend it.

I bought deluxe state to do Virginia. When I go to start the state it says I must first update the FEDERAL program first, which I did, then I updated the state program, which now says
the upgrade patch cannot be installed maybe because of a different version of the program. Both updates were downloaded today. So I cannot file my state return. I think I should get a refund.

Inaccurate . Required year of starting ROTH IRA but I have never had a ROTH IRA but could not bypass the question to electronically file so I had to manually print form and mail in.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
