I purchased two of these, one for us and one for my daughter. First one worked as expected, as they have for years. Second one would not allow the State program access (her state is different from ours). Had to purchase another program and use a different computer to finish her taxes. Seems like this could be improved in the programming.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great program! I've used it the last 10 yrs. The only issue was I couldn't import my 1099's from my financial institute. Kept telling my login info wasn't right. Entered manually so no problem.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

The software gets the job done, with a couple exceptions. It is pretty easy to set up and use. Ease of efiling the returns is a plus. The sections on underpayment penalties are quite weak and the planning section is very cumbersome to use for someone who is retired (so I don't bother using it).

I have been using this product for so many years I have stopped counting. Why? Because it is easy to use, quickly importing information from previous returns, and walking me through my tax info in an easy question and answer format.

Not better, if anything you still pay for state
