There were lots of users who had difficulty with the program this week and i am stilll checking all my entries. I called support for wanting to use form 8888 to purchase I Bonds and when i went to a digital page marked refund and select check or directly to my bank my choice was I Bonds was not there. Support could not help.

This year's tax software seems worst than the previous years. I'm not sure if it's the software or my brokerage that resulted in not downloading all my 1099 statements. It's always been done correctly for the last several decades. The software also said I had to pay a penalty for underpayment, but I double-checked with the IRS rules and I'm good.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
