It is a great software that is easy to access and is very accurate. I have used it for personal taxes and for corporate taxes for over 15 states for 10 years and never had a problem.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Mac Version of the Software Continually Crashed

This years software does not work well on a MAC. I've used it with no problems over the last 15 years or so. I used the Basic version on a friends account, and Deluxe version on mine, and both versions continually crashed. Took me three times longer to do taxes than it ever has. Even got multiple e-file notifications before it would submit my taxes. Not sure what happened with the MAC version this year, but next year I will probably look elsewhere.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thorough But Annoying

I’ve been using this product for several years. It works but not without annoyances. For example, automated down load of 1099s might or might not work. It seems the product wants stop to update itself every time you start it up. I mean, you think tax law would be settled by the time filing season rolls around. It rankles to have to pay state filing fee even if you order a “deluxe” edition and a number of areas that reminds you to be wary of exposure to the Internet grifter economy.

Federal Software is solid. State version did not handle a complicated split-state tax scenario.
