I'm not happy with how apportionment between different states is working. Because my employer reported full wages to both the states where I live and I work, but only withheld for one state, my state return looked like I made twice as much. And I work for a massive company, so this must not be a rare occurence! The program kept giving me warnings to check, and told me to correct by hand, but it didnt' give me the option to do this.
This program needs to be updated. Explanations aren't very thorough, and it should automate more functionality.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have used H&R Block for years. It’s easy to use, but I found this version to have less answers to questions on some new deductions relating to Medicare expenses. Trying to get online answers had a REALLY long wait time, but I will purchase again

H&R Block makes doing your taxes much, much easier. They take you step by step though each question. And if you have used the software the previous year, they fill in the old information to get you started for the current year.
