I have used this software for years. I really like it. The only issue I have is that it is still hard to get an answer from the "help" that is supposed to be available if you have a question about using the software. e.i. how to answer a question: should I put this data in this space: not sure if this applies to me, should I........

I have been using H&R Block software 15 years - since the days it was called Taxcut - and plan to continue using it. The ability to import preior year tax files, import W-2s from many employers, and import data from financial software greatly simplifies the data entry tasks. And the questionnaire approach can lead the first time novice or experienced user through the process easily. I use it for my taxes and the other three adults in the household, saving all of us the cost of tax preparation. If you tend to be a "DO IT YOURSELF" person, this is the package for you!

Printer software sucks, can't select one page to print. I get 9 pages and when one page doesn't print properly, I get 9 more pages.

can not handle spouses living in different states. Non resident California does not work. It flags for dates start residency and end residency when filing as a Non resident they do not apply.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

Everything worked fine once I re-downloaded the software. Have used this software since it was "Tax-Cut" some years ago. First time I ever had a problem. Simple to fix. Your "ai" call-in service is useless as it apparently only knows the answers to a handful of questions, the likelyhood of it having a solution to a real question is unlikely.
