The program is great until you get into K1 stuff. Then it just doesn't know what to do to guide you through it. We had to do the program and paper versions to understand what the program was talking about with K1 entries.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare

Software is easy to navigate and use, taxes are completed and filed within an hour. The only issue I have actually has nothing to do with the software and everything to do with the fact that this and other tax prep companies lobby to keep US tax code more complicated than necessary so as to promote their products and services.

Federal was straightforward and easy as it has always been.
State(Maine) required me to do calculations and catch twists that the program should do. I'm never sure if I got it right. Printing State was difficult. It kept taking me to federal, causing unnecessary reprinting of full federal with worksheets. Ugh.
