Product was easy to use but it still taxes me on military retirement on the state return. Arkansas military retirement is not taxed.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Product is less user friendly when printing

Overall the tax preparation is great, however for some reason the 2022 version is difficult to print. The pages are huge and cutoff most of the right side of the forms. Tried numerous printers but problem persisted.
This program works well but I need a program that can accommodate more than one state. Additional state only programs that don’t sync with the fed + state program (and therefore requiring a reentry of all fed information) are not helpful. Block apparently doesn’t have such a product.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some frustrating problems

Federal efile blocked by "Unrecognized Activation Code Error." Customer Service solved by assigning new activatioin code. Longstanding problem on NJ return with respect to Trust Income, which must be reported as "Other Income". But it is carried over from the federal return in other locations, causing double-counting of this income, which can only be corrected by overriding the carryover amounts. The overrides prevent e-filing and necessitate inconvenient ppaper filing.
Reliable software presented in a logical order. I've been self preparing for decades, so understand the basic flow of a return. I used Kiplinger's Tax Cut in the past, and paper forms before that.
