The program works well and easy to use. However I did find that the program did not calculate the Colorado sales Tax refund. I called and reported it but to my knowledge nothing has been done.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

This is about the 5th year I’ve used the H&R Block tax software for filing returns ( state and federal). It is up to date, easy to use, and looks for all opportunities to save money. As a retiree (now) and a working (married filing jointly) it gets to all the questions needed for an accurate return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Easy to use. Software guides you step by step. When I had questions they were easy to contact and even met with me to review my return. Great support. When I submitted my return, it was accepted in under 5 minutes with no questions.

The software has been good over the years, but this year I was unable to import records from Fidelity. I called support and they were useless. A ticket was opened up and no follow up.

It does the job but it could be a lot easier. I often had to check another screen and then return to the one I was working on but it is inefficient in that I had to click my way through everything in between. I could probably have saved a few hours if I could just click something that would return me to the previous place I had been.
Pros: Easy to import documents
