For many years now I have used the H & R Block tax software and have never had any problems. However, for the 2022 return there were several software problems that took amonth before they were resolved. My federal return was rejected five times due to software issues until finally a third update solved the problem. In the NY state non qualified pension plan income was reported as both wages and 'other' income causing a significant reduction in refund. So to sum itit up, I was not happy with the software experiane this year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

This product is fast and easy to use to complete your taxes. Honestly makes doing them easy as long as you do your part and put together your records in an orderly manner. As you go through each new page just follow the prompt to enter whatever figure or answer the question asked. Simply, easy and recommended.

I have used the same software for over 15 years through its iterations of slight company/name changes. It makes it so easy each year populating my data from the prior year to the new year and asking me what it is I need to answer to file my taxes. Each year I file around mid-February, and typically have my refunds back within 8-15 days...this year was no exception. Thanks!
