The import ability for 1099s was not functional for a long period after 2/15/23 which prevented many from filing taxes early, Many customers will use other products next year as a result. This function needs to be tested and available prior to 1/31 every year.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very user friendly! It asks you all the questions and all you have to do is answer them. Just like having an interview about your years spending. It suggests things to jog your memory and reminds you of things you may have forgotten. It also suggests things you may want to keep track of for future years. And until you submit it, you are free to review and change your return as many times as you need. Although I have never needed them, you have experts just a click away for any questions you may have.

Easy to use, will populate information from last year's return. Makes filing electronically a snap. Filing state return cost but you can print out the return and mail it in. If you owe it allows you to pick how to pay and choose a date to pay. Makes getting a refund fast and easy.

Works well but...it seems to be getting a little more complicated, less intuitive as the years go pass. We've been using this tax program for more the ten years and been retired for 3. Simpler taxes but...?
