Lacks quality of previous years

Fairly easy to use, but crashes frequently without saving work, so SAVE YOUR WORK OFTEN. Shows confusing data validation errors that aren't significant. Didn't transfer spouse's W2 name and address at file efile validation, so had to enter manually. Didn't calculate Colorado state sales tax refund correctly, so had to submit on state website. Don't use their Colo efile.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything went fine, except when I tried to include 2 seperate 1098 forms. The software didn't add the amount of interest on both entries and just one entry's amount of interest paid was reported. I tried several ways to get the total to report, but they all didn't work. Just so happens that the amount of interest, if in total, did not matter toward the overall refund. So I filed my Federal and State taxes anyway. Next year, please correct this glich.

Nice product but has bugs

The product often displays message that it can’t connect to server and for me to check my internet. This is definitely not my internet - and it’s comical how many times this happens throughout the use of the program. Opening screen is jumbled mess of overwritten text and changing screen size does nothing to remedy (does anyone check this)? The software just charged me twice for submitting my Georgia return and only thing I’m certain of is they charged my account. The software appears to be waiting on me to submit my $$ again so they can charge so my state return can be submitted - not going to happen… I will dispute the charges with my account if they don’t correct.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

it can be better if UI is updated to the latest Windows 11.
As it is, all looks a bit blurry, not as sharp as other modern programs.

You shouldn't sell the software until you have all the forms. I filled my federal today. But you still didn't have the Alabama forms. Feel like I'm being jerked around. My friend filled on turbo tax at the first of the month. You can do better.

Cons: Time consuming

Almost simple

I was able to go answer most of the interview questions, but was interupted during the review by messages telling me my W2 worksheet was incomplete. I tried to enter the correction, but it was not accepted. So I was forced to "Delete Form" . I only did this because there was no way to exit from the review until I did Delete Form. I figured that since was just a "worksheet" it would not impact my return. Time will tell.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
