Got my last tax statement yesterday. Completed and filed the form today. Just got notice that IRS accepted the form. How great is that! Ps it was for a refund!

Couple of Issues.

the ME Tax Software would not let me e-file until I corrected a couple of items specified in the accuracy review. The items had nothing to do with my tax return. It asked me for my college graduation date and which state the college was in. It was strange since I have no outstanding college loans and I graduated over 50 years ago. I suspect a software glitch!
Second, When completing the federal e-file, the software provided me with an activation code. Turns out the first character, which read as a "5" should have been an "S". Again, I suspect a software glitch. Otherwise, you would have gotten 5 stars.

Pretty easy to use. Printing returns was a problem

Filling out the information and importing data was good. Printing the returns produced very large print and partial pages.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have used H&R Block and Tax Cut before for years and years. Gets better each year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Program pulls incorrect data from previous year re

The program auo-filled my information from my 2021 return. The 2022 program incorrectly inserted my AGI from the 2021 return. The amount was incorrect, causing rejection of my return. I'm not sure where the 2022 version acquired the number it inserted into my return; when I opened my 2021 return (done using H&R Block 2021 Tax software), the AGI shown in the return was indeed different from the number the 2022 software inserted into my return. I had to manually correct the amount.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Every year I get this software this year it was the worst. Kept closing out and it kept giving error messages. I had to do it over 5 times it would erase everything. I want a refund for the inconvenience.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Frustrating to use this year

It would not let me enter my entire bank Routing number on my GA return, therefore I had to accept a written check to be mailed to me; which takes much longer to receive my refund.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Print function does not work properly!!!

I have been using H & R Block tax software for years and for years before when it was Taxcut... I have always been able to print out my return. This time, the print function prints only the upper left of each page!!! I can't get a full page print of any of my forms!!! This is awful. You need to do a better job of testing your software.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
