What a disappoint when I purchased the Deluxe because it said one State return. Yes, you get the State return; but not the right to file the return. Somehow, this is conveniently not listed on the description.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Software was not hard to use. E-filed return was accepted. There were a couple of forms that the program does not support but overall I was quite satisfied.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

This software does not integrate with the on line software so if you lose your computer, you’re out of luck. Why won’t it at least upload the info to the online version? I bought this because it was pushed to me when I went to file. I would not have used it if I’d known it wouldn’t integrate with my pther tax years

H & R Block has been providing an easy-to-use tax program that is totally accurate, loads your information from year to year that you can easily update if necessary. With the Deluxe version you get 5 free e-filings, and 1 state. As a former Tax Professional, I have found this program simple, concise and covers all the bases the average tax filer needs to submit an accurate tax return. The IRS has never rejected a return based on a mistake in the software, period.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

H&R Block 2021 Deluxe ran poorly with Mac OS [much worse than last year's version]. It required almost continuous updates, many of which would not install, which blocked any attempt at filing. This edition included a state return, but the software would not recognize it, so I had to purchase a second one. Once it ran the software seemed thorough and accurate. I will use a different tax software next year.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare
