I think H&R Block's 1040 software is clear and well designed. I've used Block's software for two years after many years using other tax software. I like Block's approach to tax software, which provides clear instruction and robust products without unneeded bells & whistles.

Works on Apple Mac-book Pro Laptop & iMac Desktop, bit different than Tax Act. Prefer computer based offline software to online. I like the security that computer base software gives you. Took a bit to get used to, but I'm good with it now.
