By doing my own taxes the last 15 years with H&R software made possible that l was able to retire at 62. I able to make my own decision about my money. I was able to check a lot of areas to save on taxes it made possible that l could max out my IRA and the max amount of return on my taxes.l have learned 1 thing in life is l control my own money because someone else have to much Greed.Thank You Mark and l having great retirement!!!!!!!

H&R Block software is my go-to for all of my tax needs. I believe the results are 100% accurate, the software is easy and straight-forward to use, and I always get a maximum refund from it. I will never use another tax software.

Overall the questions asked and instructions in the software work pretty smooth. There are a few areas where the instructions could be more detailed and clearer. Over the years I have had questions about some of the calculations in worksheets, but find that of late, the first tier 800 people often don't have the knowledge to answer the question and refer it to the "next level." Unfortunately, the next level people never get back to you. I make it a point to look at the worksheets so I can follow the numbers, so to speak. There is one area, on tax exempt bonds data transfer from the federal to state return I can't figure out, and the would really like a next level person go over that data. I have been using Block software for over fifteen years, but I am now considering switching to Turbo tax to see if they have better support in answering questions.

Generally as ui this is a good software. I understand that you do not give a dime to enhance it, but I cannot accept that you do not bother to fix basic bugs at all. If a field is filled with data by the user and then cleared, that data should be removed from the submitted tax documents. The user should not manually verify every form to fir your mess. This has been a problem for many years. How hard is that to do and test and fix? Isn't that what a tax software should be about?
