Very easy to use. Walks you through the process. Asks questions to make sure you take advantage of all possible deductions and properly report income and expenses. Reasonably priced. Very easy to submit return, print return, save return, etc.

Switched from turbo tax (when they excessively raised prices) many years ago and have not had any regrets or issues with H & R. It has handled my entire family's federal taxes and my non-resident state taxes easily. Installs and imports last years information, hardest part is waiting on the required forms 1099, w2 etc to come in.

Software has an error that I had to manually correct the input. H&R Block was notified, but my message was not responded too. If I hadn't caught the error, I would have had paid way more than was actually due. Will not use this software going forward. I have been using it for at least 10 years.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
