Easy to use. Return is quick.A large portion of the information is downloaded from the year before. The only drawback is the cost of filing the state electronically.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

Erroneous Software causes problems with return.

Terrrable software.
Very confusing to use.
I have used turbo tax and tac cut in years past without issue
Yet with this software I called a friend who does taxes professionsionally to help get me last why I owed 21000 to the feds.
The software screwed up the information from my out of state remote work job and would not let me complete the taxes.
Once completed with help from a friend,
The taxes were calculated and submitted.
The IRS sent a letter informing me that an error on my 1040 caused me to get 1/2 of my taxes back instead of the full amount.
The software ran it's error check and did not see this error. An error it had inserted.
Do not buy this software. They do not know what they are doing and they will cost you money.

I have been using H&R Block tax software since 1996. I have never had any problems, never been audited, and the software is easy to use. The ability to file electronically is very convenient and trouble free. I wouldn't use anything else!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Reliable and affordable Tax Preparation Software

Have been using H&R Block at home for Tax preparation for over a decade. Simple and easy prompts guide you through the questions. While other softwares may seem cheaper, I think the overall cost of tax filling (including e-filing Federal and State) is the lowest with H&R Block. Software works reliably everytime.
