Easy to use. Sources of income and deductions carry over from year to year automatically but the amounts do not -and must be reentered. This is not an increase in effort if you income changes yearly, but it would be nice for retirees if there was an option to have the data from the previous year carryover too.
Submitting your return electronically is super easy after the first year (when you have to set up some things). I get my refund this year deposited in our bank account about a week after it was submitted.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
