Overall straightforward to use. Walks through the items well. Handles deductions and donations well. During the review I had one confusing warning for a 1099 entered which didn't make much sense at the time (help info wasn't clear), but later I found information elsewhere that made sense why review was flagging. So program worked correctly but could have been a bit more clear for that item. But overall an excellent product for the price. Purchased cheaper than competitor product. If both products had same cost, would be harder to choose the better.
Pros: Easy to prepare

There were SIGNIFICANT problems with the item donation section this year. Last year’s version (2020 taxes) prompted me to take additional deduction for the Covid relief, which then delayed my tax return for more than 4 months as it was reviewed, and ultimately led to a large adjustment to my refund. This product seems to have had many more issues in the last couple of years, and I may change to different tax prep software given the issues I have had.

For most people, it is fairly easy to use. Better price than Turbo Tax. It is a bit limited on the backend reporting. Would be really nice if it produced a summary of tax by its relevant components (ordinary income, investment income, etc) but overall it should fit the vast majority of taxpayers.

Cons: Time consuming
