It is a better produce than TurboTax. However, it is deceptively expensive for filing state taxes.

What software is perfect for the type of taxes I need to file. Unfortunately over the years my usage of This program has come down to just my own taxes now. It would be nice if you sold a one federal/state tax option.

Help with Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).

I generally like this product, but this year as I was dealing with Required Minimum Distributions from retirement funds, I found it not as helpful as expected. First, they did not refer to them as RMDs, but as excess accumulation, which is rare terminology. Second, the product simply asked me if I had excess accumulation and offered little help in determining whether I did.

It's easy enough to use. I've used the software for the last 10 years without incident but this year they miscalculated a state credit (corrected by NYS when submitted). When I informed them of the issue, they refunded the cost of the software promptly..
