If a tax prepared did your tax the year before you have to know the pin code are tou wont be able the end to complete the tax return.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Fairly easy to understand and follow the interview

Once again, it was fairly simple to follow the interview process. This was the first year I had a slight problem and called for help. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with seemed to have no knowledge of what I was having a problem with. But, I was able to resolve it on my own.

H&R Block guides you through the process by asking easily undertood questions, the answers to which give you simple data entry pages to enter your tax infornation. You almost don't have to know anything about taxes, just do what it tells you and a couple of hours later it fills out your tax forms and files them for you. Easy as could be.

This will be my last time using HR Block have used it for many years but always too many updates too late and then had an issue they had no timeline to fix and used another companies software and it worked liked it should

Need to improve when getting an update after filin

Been using H & R Block software for years and have been pleased, but this year could not get issue resolved. After filing this past year an software update changed my state tax refund to a larger amount. I received the smaller original amount. Could not get answers on how to handle the issue. In my opinion H & R Block's software should have handled the situation, instead I had to go in and override the amount refunded to me for next years filing. The math doesn't add up now on my tax form but reflects the correct amount I received. Dissiappionted that H & R Block's software did not pick up on the amount when I filed was different than the amount after the update.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
