It's really simple to use and very efficient. I love using the software the only down fall is every time I have tried to use customer support, they tell me they can't help me. They usually tell me to call the IRS. I can't even get a copy of my original tax forms I submitted using the software. (I accidently changed the document on my computer). So like I said, the software is wonderful, I will use it again. If you need anything as far as assistance is concerned, you may find yourself very limited as to what they can help you with.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I went to an actual brick and mortar location before i used the home software. Then i used that years tax preparation as a guide for the next year to complete my current tax using the H&R Block Online Software. I wanted to see if i could get the same results. My tax deductions/income did not change between using the "store" versus "online" option, therefore i was able to see that i was doing my taxes correctly. Been using the online option now without any problems.

1099 download from Schwab did not work. Had to enter all transactions manually. Will never buy your software again.

The H&R Block state of Michigan software calculated the wrong numbers for my 2021 tax year. The state has to re-calculate the refund to a 20% lower refund. After researching it I discovered the state was correct and H&R Block was wrong. Not a good thing after paying for software that was incorrect.

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund
