Been easy to use over 15+ years. I did have a different situation come up this year needing help with that I couldn’t figure out on my own. It was a long, long wait on the phone to get assistance, but a nice lady walked me thru the forms I neede to fill out to finish my Fed. return.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming

using this software for 2021 was horrible. They did not have their software updated for SS as did others. NOT a release problem from the IRS, just sloppy coding by this company

I have used H&R Block tax software for my Federal and State returns for more than 10 years without a problem. It conveniently imports my prior year's data to simplify entry. I have never had a problem with my returns or their submittals. I plan on using again next year and recommend the software to others.

The deluxe plus state version needs to be able to handle a K-1 form for all the entries received from a trust that I need to report as a beneficiary. the current version could not. It told me I needed to consult a tax pro for a very small dollar amount item. This was very frustrating because I had everything else done and entered into the program by the time I got the final K-1 to enter those numbers.
