The software is straightforward, and if you understand what you have for income from various sources, it takes care of a lot of filling out forms by hand. I have used it now for at least 10 years, and have enjoyed reducing the time it takes to do my taxes down to a few hours. The "check for error" feature is nice to have and quickly identifies anything that you may have done incorrectly.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

I’ve been using this for about 15 years or more and I love it. It’s easy and they stand by there word. I had an problem with my taxes one year and they figured out the issue, contacted the IRS and were very nice about it. They made sure I was ok with everything……. Best program ever

I had been using this software for many years, but the past two years I've had issues.
2 years ago, my state tax was totally wrong and I ended up having to pay a penalty.

This past year, there was also a calculation error that resulted in a delay in my federal refund.
When I tried to get help, could not get customer support, and emails went unanswered.
My taxes are pretty basic, and the program loads info from the previous year which is great, but very disappointed to have issues 2 years in a row now.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
