Doesn’t have the same number of connections to pull from institutions, UI is old and not even similar to web. Web application is way better.
Also, it’s ridiculous to have to install a brand new piece of software every year instead of either paying for the new year’s tax return capability in the same H&R application already installed on the computer, and have it download the latest updates (you still have to do this every time you install the new software application for the year anyways). Having to install a new software application every year seems wasteful at best and a horrible user experience at best.
I expected, and would have liked a similar experience as the web application, but this is not even close. TurboTax’s application software is much more similar to it’s own web application and unfortunately have to say that it surpasses in capabilities and usability H&R Block’s parallel software application product.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

The state of MN provided didn't work properly and didn't allow us to submit and so needed to do that via paper which meant we paid more than we should have for this. Disappointed.

The software is easy to follow however I have been audited two years in a row with my overall tax being adjusted resulting in me going from getting a refund to having to pay large amounts. Can't say I would recommend this product.
