Well I used it for 3 years now. Never had a problem, till this year. It was sent in that night it was approved. Three days later I got an email saying 3 to 5 days I would have my tax return. It’s now 3 months later and I still don’t have my tax return.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Have used the H&R Block software for decades and will continue to do so. I would normally give it a 5 star rating but have backed off one for this year. I had some challenges with customer service - long waits and incorrect information being shared.

Not as good as past years
Switching from one account to another was challenging and at times panicking experience when it appears that the file almost completed disappeared. It turned out that it didn’t store with the same file name I created but defaulted to hrblock file.
A major issue was with the state filing. The submission to IL 1040 to IDOR must not have transmitted accurately that we received a notice of an unreported income. When I checked our saved file that income was clearly there.
