I have used H&R Block for the past 15 years. Always easy to use and very helpful.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

You did not lead me through as easy as TT. I could not find my way around easily. ( got lost and didn't know where to look for things.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

Fast and easy with great updates

Program is good. Product support does not exist

I have bought this for many years. I had a problem that needed to be resolved, since the second part of the directions said "go to", with no where specified. I called support. After 10 minutes a person answered. She could not help me. She sent me to software support. I put the phone on speaker and listened to music and time updates. After a total 1hr 45minutes. The line went dead. I repeatedly said hello. No answer.
This is the third time that I have encountered bad support. Three times is a charm. Goodbye.

Couldn't eFile State Return

Couldn't eFile State Return because of an "error". The State Distribution of my Pension was needed according to the program. The distribution box on my 1099-R was blank. I left the box blank on the Federal Form. The error came up. I put "0" in and it still came back as needing an entry. Had to mail my State Return. :(

More Difficult than Past Years

I was disappointed this year. I’ve used HFR Block tax software since before they purchased it from Intuit. This is the first year that I did not feel good about whether I’d done my taxes correctly. There were terms and acronyms with which I was totally unfamiliar, and when I clicked to have it explained, I still was unsure. I’m not a “tax person,” nor am I a CPA. I wish they had used more “lay person” vocabulary.
Cons: Hard to import documents
