Glitchy and prone to Crash on M1 Mac

Every time I got to a key point in entering my data, the program would crash. This kept happening up to and including submission of my taxes. I had to save constantly to avoid losing data. This product does not work well on new M1 Macs using OS 12.3.1.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very easy to use

I have never done e-file before and was quite apprehensive of doing it for the first time. It turned out to be much easier than I had anticipated. I just followed the directions (which are all quite easy to understand) and filled the data...and everything went through....both returns were successfully submitted in 2 hours...wow.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Tax software for people who have stocks

I have used H&R Block software for many years and will continuously use it in future. It always took my previous year information automatically. Now, it can extract stock trading details (1099B) from brokers into the tax return automatically. It made my life easy. The best thing is this software allows you to choose different filing strategies by monitoring tax payment. At the end, it tells you if your tax return has errors or not. Submission is fast and convenient. I trust its calculation and felt safe to use H&R Block. Do not have to worry about being rejected by IRS. In past years, my submissions were always approved by IRS in two days. Also, it is cheaper to buy H&R Block software than others. I strongly recommend using this software. By the way, preparing one state tax is free, but submitting it will cost extra. That cost is not mentioned in advertisement.
The only negative is it is too complicated to understand non-submitted calculating sheets. When it asks me to verify, sometimes, I am not sure how to proceed. Fortunately, verification is optional.

Mississippi software troubles

I had two problems with the State program for Mississippi. Talked to a software tech that did not have a copy of most of the states, so they could not reproducce the error as I was on the phone. Their solution was to make a change in the Federal so the Mississippi would be correct, file it, then put the Federal back correct for the final filing. Was not the best of solutions. The Mississippi program would then not allow me to leave the refund amount as is for 2022, so I had to take a refund. I asked in writing for a refund on the Mississippi software but have not heard a word. I have used it got 20+ years.

Have been using H&R programs for several years. Although I have occasionally had to pull up IRS instructions to clarify something, that is rare. The interview is logical and thorough and generally the software is a good experience.

Second year in a row unable to e-file my federal return. Error message staring AGI does not match IRS. Transcript from IRS shows AGI shown on my return.
Cons: Hard to import documents
