The product is easy to use and follow through each step.
I was disappointed and frustrated when I came to the recovery rebate credit. I needed to check the tax laws and discover that I was not able to receive the recovery rebate because my AGI in 2019 was over $160,00. I had to enter false information on the form so the program would not automatically give me a $2,800. credit to my tax return. I had to check Yes I received a payment of $2,800. even thou I did not receive one.
Did I make the right discission? will my submission to Federal be OK?

Printing

I've been using H&R Block Deluxe for several years. I like it. However, using the print button under the filing menu results in way too much pages being printed, and they are one sided at that. I prefer to open the saved .PDF file and print only the pages that I really want.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

REJECTED MY RETURN 8 TIMES. KEPT SAYING MY SS NUMBER WAS FOR A DECEASED PERSON. I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER AND STILL WAS REJECTED. CALLED AND GOT A REFUND BUT NOT HAPPY WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM. BEEN USING FOR SEVERAL YEARS.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Issue with the tax software this year.

I have been using HR Block for years, but this year I had a problem with a form that was not in the software package and was never in any of the updates. The IRS form was 8915-F. I had to go in the IRS website, complete the form, override the figures on the 1040 tax forms in the HR Block software.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve used H&R Block Deluxe Software every year for the past 10 years. It’s reliable, easy to use and guaranteed accurate. There are many tax software packages on the market, but, H&R Block is my “go to” tax software every year!

I have used HR Block for several years. The software is great in provide an explanation of the income need to be filed. I will purchase again.

Easy to use

This is the 3rd year I've use this software and i really like it. It makes it easy to do my investments. I used to pay a CPA to do my return and i paid big bucks. This year i had to do KY a part- year resident return and it made the division of investment dividends/income easier.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
