A Disappointing Product

Very sorry that I used this Software... It was impossible to e-file the state return and even though I made changes - they were not reflected.( Ex: Refund vs. Apply to 2022 taxes) It was frustrating to be unable to easily complete the return and I will no use it again.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Easy Tax Software, very intuitive, connected to my banks and brokerage firms tax files and down loaded all that was needed to get the work done.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

A little kludgy, but functional

The user interface is okay as long as you can stick to the script, but navigation is only to broad areas, where you have to click through screens to get to the specific item you want.
The inability to go from a form to the interview is also a substantial drawback.
Importing of values from Quicken Tax Schedule report was imprecise, often lumping things together, e.g., all charitable contributions as if from one of the many sources, so I had to enter manually the various amounts anyway, which made the import of that portion pretty useless.
Bottom line: it works & it is a little cheaper than the major Windows competition, but may or may not be worth the savings.

Struggled a bit, but worked fine.

Instructions on the state taxes for Michigan were very confusing. Mentions removing state tax refunds from the AGI but doesn’t show how to do that. Also struggled with the charity credit and now have to file an amended return to take it. Never had to do that before.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was unable to import my 1099s from Charles Schwab. I had to manually input all my data. NOT HAPPY!

Since I tried to review my return the pages were filled in with no numbers but my financial institution name. Very frustrating so I had to send in without double check. Now fed has rejected it. More frustration.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have used this product for more than 15 years. It still delivers the quality that I have experienced in the past and expected for completing my 2021 Tax Return.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
